Arthur's Seat. Arthur's Seat is often mentioned as one of the possible locations for Camelot, the legendary castle and court of the Romano-British warrior-chief, King Arthur. It seems more likely, however, that the name is a corruption of the Gaelic ard na saigheid, meaning 'hill of the archers'.
